Hello Again!

Hey guys! So its been quite some time since Ive made a post. Almost a whole year! I feel horrible. Anyways let me catch you up on what's been going on in my life. As you know I've been going natural. The last you heard I was 3 months natural. I am now ONE YEAR and one month natural! I did the BIG CHOP back in January. Here it is!

At first I hated it and didn't know what to do with it but now I've grown to love my hair. I don't really do much with it but wash and go's; I'm still learning. Here I am at my one year mark.

I've had a lot of growth in one year if I say so myself! Here's a few pictures of what I normally do with it for the time being.

Natural Journey: 3 months!

Hey there! So recently I decided to join the rave of going natural. I have 3 good friends who have already done it and they have inspired me. Well, they actually pushed me to do it. BUT, never the less, I made the final decision for myself to press forward.

First let me say that this is not an easy road to travel! Its only been 3 months for me and I'm already begging my hair to just grow! So far its getting there but I wish it would grow faster. I am not thinking about doing the big chop yet (actually no where near that). I have a sick attachment to my hair so cutting it off would be devastating for me. Just being honest here. Its sick, I know.

But here is where I'm at now. I absolutely LOVE my curls! I had no idea that they would look like this.

This is what I have been using so far. Shea Moisture Curling Souffle. My mom's friend has gone completely natural and she recommended this product to me. It works really good and the best part... Its NOT expensive. Its about $12 at Target. Try it out and let me know what you think.

If anyone has any tips on what I can do please feel free to share! I would love to here what you all are using and what you think.
